The Common Sense Deposit & Payment Schedule

For CATERED OUTINGS:

(Weekends in May, June 1 - September 7, Weekends in Sept. & October)

Booking Deposits

Groups who book their outing prior to March 16th 2009:

  • Booking deposit is due by April 1, 2009

Groups who book between March 16, 2009 and May 15th:

  • Booking deposit due within 10 business days of booking

Groups who book their outing after May 15th

  • Booking deposit due within 5 business days of booking

Date of outing is NOT reserved until Booking Deposit is received.

What is a Booking Deposit?

Your booking deposit (see required amount in table below) secures the date of your outing up to 2 weeks (10 business days) prior to your scheduled outing.

Booking Deposits are Non-Refundable, although we will make every effort to reapply it to another date within a 12-month period if your organization is forced to cancel your outing with at least 8 weeks notice.

Final Deposit

We require that approximately 50% of your total outing cost (final deposit) be received 2 weeks prior to your scheduled outing.

Final outing count is due 7 business days prior to your group's scheduled event date and determines the minimum cost you will be billed.  If the total number of guests exceeds the projected total, the group will be billed for those additional guests on a per person basis.

 

Deposits for Exclusive and Semi-Exclusive Outings

Exclusive and Semi-Exclusive outings require immense pre-planning and public annoucements alerting guests that we will be closed all or part of that day.  Other group outings and birthday parties, often scheduled months in advance, cannot be scheduled.

All "Exclusive Events" require a minimum $5000 booking deposit and a final deposit (including booking deposit) of 50% of the total estimated cost of the outing, or a minimum of $15,000 whichever is greater.  The final deposit is due no later than 4 weeks prior to the date of the outing.

Semi-Exclusive events also require a $5000 booking deposit (for the primary organization) and 50% of the total estimated cost of the outing, or a minimum of $12,000, whichever is greater.  The final deposit is due no later than 4 weeks prior to the date of the outing.

 

Final Payment

Your final balance is due 3 days prior to your event unless you are an established Swings-N-Things account in good-standing or have made other arrangements at the time of booking.  Cash, company checks, Visa and Mastercard are accepted. Sorry, no personal checks.

 

**Every guest attending your outing MUST purchase a Swings-N-Things Attraction Pass, Catered Meal and Beverage Service.  No exceptions.
